Blue Almonds Launches New Royal Collection to Mark the Arrival of the Latest Addition to the Royal Family
We are delighted to reveal an exciting new addition to our Royal Collection to mark the arrival of the first Baby Sussex this Spring.
The latest Royal Collection is a collaboration with Abigail's Nursery, the award-winning interior design practice in North Yorkshire which is known for its beautiful bespoke baby furniture and accessories, and comprises furniture and accessories featuring their delightfully playful Story Time Ted woven fabric, which is made by Gainsborough Silk Weaving in Sudbury, in soft colours for an elegant and timeless feel.
Furniture includes a traditional hand-crafted cot bed (£1,675) which has been upholstered with the signature Story Time Ted fabric in a plush gender neutral cream on the panels, and has a gently worn finish to set a relaxed, yet sophisticated tone to ensure the bed becomes an heirloom piece. Bespoke orders can be taken for pink and blue versions of the Story Time Ted fabric. Other furniture items include a chest of drawers (£1,495) which comes with or without a baby changer, a bedside table (£455) and a nursing chair which is upholstered in the Story Time Ted fabric in cream, pink and blue (£1,335).
In addition to the furniture, the Royal Collection also comprises a range of exquisite bedding accessories including a cotton bedding set (£470) with the embroidered Teddy, which is personalised with the baby's name for an extra special touch. The bedding is made by Heirlooms Fine Linens in Bognor Regis, who hold Royal Warrants for both Her Majesty the Queen and His Royal Highness the Prince of Wales, and is available in 200 and 500 thread count.
Other accessories include a changing mat cover featuring a super soft towelling panel (£135) and three varieties of decorative cushions (from £135 - £280). Other items in the range are a bespoke picture in a wooden frame with the embroidered Teddy and baby‚Äôs name (£210), luxurious silk table lamp and shade finished with a Samuel & Sons bobble trim and gold cable (£355), a sheer canopy with pom poms (£895), a crown and pullback set in an opulent gold finish (£825) as well as one of Izabela Minkiewicz - Blue Almonds' owner's - favourite pieces, a stunning sensory rug (£1,395) made from undyed bamboo pom poms and New Zealand wool loop pile. It can be made to any size and can be personalised with a monogram on request.
